"Per sempre Blucelesti" is the story of 50 legends of Lecco that I edited on behalf of the sports newspaper LCN Sport and its publisher Sky Blue Srl. The initiative unfolds in a series of podcasts and a book that tell the biographies of players who have written the history of the club in the city where I was born and work.A piece of the glorious history of Calcio Lecco (even before Canottieri Lecco and Ac Lecco) through 50 short biographies of unforgettable players, who will remain precisely "Per sempre Blucelesti".
A long but rewarding job
The project "Per sempre Blucelesti" was born immediately, from an idea of Ivan Alborghetti and talking with the director of LCN Sport Matteo Bonacina. So I started working on podcasts, a long and demanding job (search for sources, not always all reliable, writing the texts, recording, thorough cleaning of the audio until removing every single breath, final editing), and gradually the idea of a book made its way. Born therefore spontaneously. And with the same spontaneity this small volume is aimed at readers, fans, professionals: it does not claim to be a monumental book or a refined story; The beauty is all in the rough faces of the players, in the photos often grainy by the decades, in the numbers and emotions that 110 years have left and leave as a legacy. It wants to be an essential synthesis of a slice of Lecco history of yesterday and today, with cards of immediate reading, a compendium that can be browsed anywhere and at any time, which any lover of blucelesti colors should jealously guard. And it is not said that in the coming months it can not have a following with other players: choosing was not easy and many deserve in turn to be "Forever Blucelesti".
